Evidence of Longitudinal Impact
Early Foundations in New York
Elements of the CDMA Business Model® were first explored within New York City public Career & Technical Education environments. Youth media initiatives during this period demonstrated the power of creative production as a vehicle for visibility and expression.
In 2013, student work reached national and international exposure audiences through appearances on BET’s 106 & Park, highlighting the growing influence of youth-driven media production.
These early experiences helped inform the work that would later evolve into the CDMA Business Model®.
Evidence of Longitudinal Impact
Building on its early foundations in New York, the CDMA Business Model® continued to evolve through sustained implementation in Washington, DC. Over the past decade, this work has taken shape within middle school Career & Technical Education environments where applied learning connects curiosity with real-world relevance.
Across these environments, emerging talent engages with creative production, industry awareness, and collaborative exploration that encourage both confidence and capability.
Rather than isolated programming, this work reflects a sustained approach to talent development one where exposure, creativity, and engagement unfold over time.
The result is a pathway where curiosity evolves into awareness, and awareness into demonstrated capability. Through this sustained work, the CDMA Business Model® contributes to a broader Evidence-Based CTE Ecosystem™ supporting institutions seeking to strengthen future talent pipelines.
From national and international exposure television exposure to industry-based visits and media access points, these early experiences reflected a growing foundation that would later evolve into the CDMA Business Model®.
